Greg Brown

Co-Founder & Director of Sport & Recreation

Greg Brown is the Co-Founder and Director of Sport & Recreation for 4titude, Sports 4 All, and Sports Inclusion NSW & ACT. For more than 40 years, Greg has dedicated his career to supporting people with disability to live meaningful, connected, and active lives.

Beginning his career as a Registered Nurse within the mental health system, Greg spent over three decades working in institutional and community settings supporting people with intellectual disability, mental health challenges, and complex support needs. Throughout this time, he became known for looking beyond traditional models of care and creating opportunities for people to participate in their communities, develop friendships, and experience life beyond the walls of services and institutions.

A lifelong advocate for inclusion through sport and recreation, Greg has built strong relationships with local, state, national, and international sporting organisations, helping create pathways that allow athletes with disability to participate, compete, and excel. His work has contributed to countless opportunities for individuals to experience the benefits of sport, community connection, travel, personal achievement, and lifelong friendships.

Known for his unwavering commitment to participants and their families, Greg has supported some individuals for more than 40 years, building trusted relationships that span generations. Families regularly describe him as someone who genuinely cares, follows through on his commitments, and always looks for ways to create new opportunities for the people he supports.

Today, Greg continues to play an active role in programs, events, competitions, camps, and participant support. His passion for sport remains as strong as ever, as does his belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to participate, belong, and achieve their personal best.

When he's not supporting participants or developing sporting opportunities, you'll likely find Greg talking rugby league, following the Wests Tigers, or finding another way to incorporate his love of sport into everyday life.
