Building skills that last a lifetime
Skills development is about more than just learning, it's about building independence, confidence, and the abilities needed to thrive. Our hands-on programs are personalised to your goals.

- Daily living, cooking, cleaning, laundry, and personal care
- Community navigation, independent use of public transport and local services
- Communication, social skills, conversation, and assertiveness

- Work readiness, time management, teamwork, and workplace behaviour
- Self-advocacy, building confidence to speak up and make choices

Meet Pierre
Pierre has been a valued member of the 4titude community for many years. He's passionate about staying active and enjoys our sport outings, particularly softball and football. Pierre also loves spending time in our horticulture programs, where he builds practical gardening skills and connects with nature. Through these programs, Pierre has developed greater independence and confidence in community settings.
Skills development for adults ready to grow
Our programs are designed for adults aged 18 and over with any kind of disability and an active NDIS plan. They are typically funded under Capacity Building, specifically Increased Social and Community Participation or Finding and Keeping a Job, depending on the program. Verify which funding line applies at ndis.gov.au or with your support coordinator.
No prior skills or experience is required for any program. Our staff tailor activities to every participant's starting point, and programs run in small groups so everyone gets genuine individual attention and real learning opportunities.
Participants wanting practical, hands-on learning
If you learn best by doing, our woodwork, horticulture, and bike repair programs build real, transferable skills in a workshop setting with qualified staff support.
People building independence for daily life
Money management, computer classes, and communication programs directly address the everyday skills that underpin independent living and full community participation.
Anyone on a pathway to employment
Our employment skills program and related workshops build the workplace-ready confidence, habits, and practical capabilities that make the transition into work more achievable.
